Typically NAET seems to help with all allergies and allergy related disorders, although in the most severe cases i.e. peanut/nut allergy causing anaphylaxis, then the allergic reaction may not clear 100%. Therefore in certain cases avoidance may still be advised. Having said that a reduction in severity in reaction could, literally mean the difference between life and death.
Autoimmune Disorders
Some NAET practitioners (including myself) have also had a significant improvement with people with certain autoimmune conditions. You may ask - How can that be? Well autoimmune conditions are lterally like an allergic reaction to one of the bodies own tissues or organs. In fact they used to be called an autoallergy. So with NAET one would use the same principle. E.g. Instead of say, treating with a sample vial for say fish or nuts, then one would use a vial for thyroid tissue, related hormones, etc. (for an autoimmune under active thyroid). Obviously things tend to be more complicated than that and the thyroid tissue already restroyed may not be able to recover, but that's the general principle.
We're not suggesting that NAET is a 'quick fix' miraculous 'cure all' for all autoimmune conditions, but there have been many cases of significant improvement that seem to support the theory. With the orthodox medical approach being largely based on hormone replacement, steroids and immune system supressant drugs, then I for one would certinaly want to try and improve my long term health with NAET. NB Any changes to medications taken would need to be discussed with and advised by your GP.
